About the model

Frequently asked questions.

Is CEO LAB powered by AI?

Yes. Competitors are adaptive strategy agents that react to the market and to your past moves, each with a personality and a temperament that varies per game. Financial and market outcomes are calculated by the simulation engine. Language-model competitor agents are in development.

Are financial results generated by AI?

No. Revenue, costs, inventory, cash flow and market share are produced by deterministic simulation logic.

Can the same simulation be reproduced?

Yes. The engine is seeded: the same seed and the same decisions produce the same underlying result. Instructors can give a whole class one shared market.

Is CEO LAB suitable for MBA programs?

It is designed for strategy, general-management, capstone and executive-education use. A faculty pilot program is open.

How long does a simulation take?

From a 90–120 minute classroom exercise to a multi-week module or a full 12-quarter capstone.

Can instructors configure the simulation?

Today instructors choose difficulty and a shared market seed, run team sessions, pause and advance quarters, inject market shocks, and grade and export results. Selecting the number of quarters and editing market assumptions are planned.
